Wood Fired Maple Syrup
Our delicious maple syrup, just like our honey, is also 100% pure and local. Tapped and harvested from the most mature Maple Trees for the best taste, the sap is transported to a sugar house where it boils down to become real maple syrup. Unlike many maple syrup farmers, we use nothing but wood to make our fires despite propane becoming the desired option. As the sap boils, water evaporates and it becomes denser and sweeter. It takes over 10 gallons of sap to make 1 quart of syrup! Sap boils until it reaches the density of maple syrup, and then it's bottled into jugs.
